Important information about countries visited without a visa
It is important to keep in mind that the visa you receive to enter a country does not provide absolute rights.
Always have your hotel reservation, hotel address and phone number with you.
When you enter the country, border police may ask to see your return plane ticket.
Countries that issue visas at the door may request a passport photo. Keep it with you.
For some countries you may be required to have certain vaccinations. Check out Seyahatsagligi.gov.tr.
At some airports, you may be asked for a tax called Departure Tax when returning to Turkey.
For visa applications for children under the age of 18, the consent of both parents is required. In cases where the parents are separated or one of them is not alive, it may be necessary to submit a document showing that the child has custody.
If an invitation letter is submitted for tourist visa applications, the letter must state the identity of the inviting person, residence address, contact number, duration and purpose of stay, and whether there is a kinship with the applicant.
The list of visa-free countries contains the latest information available and I update it with each new official change. Due to possible updates in visa applications, I recommend contacting the embassy of the relevant country before travelling.
For the latest visa information, I mostly used the data of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey as a source . I also made research and comparisons on Wikipedia, IATA and the official pages of the countries. However, even the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website itself contains information that contradicts current data. Embassy pages provide up-to-date data at this point. Ekşi Sözlük pages may also contain up-to-date information about visas. Look at.
One should not trust the headlines in the press that visas have been lifted for another country . Even though these decisions were taken through discussions with politicians, determining the protocols, implementing them and publishing them in the official gazette can take a long time. Sometimes, the canceled visas may only cover green passports or diplomatic passports. However, most of us have maroon passports with chips . We hope that the number of countries visited without a visa will increase as relations in foreign policy improve.
I update this article when visa agreements are signed with a new country and it enters the list of countries that do not require a visa. If you have visa experiences and suggestions, you can contribute in the comments section.
